CELEBRATION OF MILLENIUM.
REPRESENTATIVE GATHERING. British Wireless. Rugby, Oct. 31. Mr. R. Eden represented the British Government at the luncheon of the Royal Central Asian Society, at which the Persian Minister and many Oriental scholars were present in honour of the immortal memory of Firdausi, the great poet of Persia whose millenium is being celebrated.
