Mesdames W. Jemison and D. Hildred are inmates of the New Plymouth Hospital. Mr. B. Dombroski sen., Norfolk Road, who has had a bad attack of quinsey, has improved sufficiently to be about again. Influenza is prevalent in the district, families having several members ill at the same time.
The progress made by Mr. Loveridge sen. since his accident seven weeks ago has not been as satisfactory as expected. When examined recently at the New Plymouth Hospital, it was found that the leg would have to remain in plaster another month.
