MAN KILLED BY FALL
SANDSTONE FALLS IN CUTTING. WEST COAST MINER’S DEATH. By felegraph—Press Association. Greymouth, Oct. 17. Walter Duggan, aged 35, single, was killed by a fall of sandstone yesterday while working on a gold claim near Ahaura. He was last seen alive at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon. He was working alone in a cutting, and failing his usual return a search party went out last evening and recovered the body at 4 o’clock this morning.
