RECENTLY-APPROVED AMATEUR • PERFORMANCES Thirty-four new athletic records for the world were approved by the International Amateur Athletic Federation at a congress in Stockholm a few weeks ago. Sixteen of these new records are held by United States athletes, Ben Eastman, of California, alone claiming six.
