MR. RAMSAY MACDONALD RETURNS ANXIOUS TO RESUME WORK.By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rugby, Oct. 4. Mr. Ramsay MacDonald, accompanied by his daughter Miss Ishbel MacDonald, arrived at Liverpool from Canada greatly improved in health after three months’ rest. He will to-morrow see an oculist, but he states that his eyesight is better. He said he felt very fit and anxious to resume work. Mr. MacDonald strongly recommended Canada, with its superb scenery and delightful people, as ,a country in which to spend a holiday. Mr. MacDonald was met by Lord Sankey, Sir John Simon, Mr. J. H. Thomas, many officials and friends and a large crowd of Londoners, who gave him a warm welcome. Mr. MacDonald said he was glad to be back and that he felt much better after his holiday. He will to-morrow be examined by his physician, Lord Herder, and his oculist, Sir Stewart Duke-Elder.
