SPLENDID BOXING
KNUCKEY KNOCKS OUT McKAY. GISBORNE CROWD EXCITED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, Last Night. The return boxing match to-night between Len Knuckey (Hastings), 8.7, and Billy McKay (Gisborne), 8.3, resulted in a knock-out victory for Knuckey in the tenth and last round. The pair gave a brilliant display which kept the crowd roaring with excitement. McKay led over the first six rounds. Knuckey attacked persistently thereafter and was ahead on points when the end came.
