TEMPLE—LYSAGHT.
At St. James’ Church, Mokoia, on Wednesday, the wedding was celebrated by the Rev. H. Whitby James, of Norah Frances, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. C. Lysaght, “Punarima,” Hawera, and Grenville Algar, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Temple,“Castlewood,” Geraldine. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a clinging gown of parchment panne velvet, with a cowl neck, and her -grandmother’s lovely old veil of Honiton lace, and her necklace and brooch of chrysdlites. She vore a sheaf of orchids and yellow kowhai. Her sister, Miss Sylvia Lysaght, attended her as bridesmaid, wearing a gown of primrose georgette, the skirt embossed with autumn-tinted velvet flowers. Her wide tagel hat and sheaf of tulips matched her frock, and her necklace of amber beads was the gift of the bridegroom. The bridegroom’s cousin, Mr. Basu Hewitt, was best man, and the ushers were Messrs Frank Moore, Roger Rawson and Eric Hunter. The ceremony was fully choral, the choir consisting' of choristers from St. Mary’s, Hawera, with their organist, Mr. R. F. Page, " The bride’s mother wore a gown of mulberry coloured marocain, and carried a bouquet to match. • The bridegroom’s mother was in black, and carried a bouquet of freesias. The bride’s youngest sister, Miss Mary Lysaght, wore a blue floral organdie frock with wide cream leghorn hat. The reception was held at the old family homestead, Mokoia, now the residence of Miss Lysaght. The guests, numbering about 100, were received by Mr. and Mrs. Lysaght in the vestibule. For her going-away frock the bride chose brown marocain relieved with beige, and hat and coat to match.
