LONDON DAIRY PRODUCE MARKET. BUTTER SHOWS STEADIER TREND.. The butter market is steadier, ’ says a Press Association- cable from London, Quotations: Salted: New Zealand, 68s to 70s; Australian, 67s to 695; unsalted, New Zealand, 82s; Australian, 745. The cheese market is firm. Quotations: New Zealand White, 48s to 48s 6d; coloured, 48s 6d to 495; Australian, a shilling less. Cheese prices show an advance of 6d to Is on last week’s quotations, and the demand is growing.' Following are reports of various firms, last week’s prices being shown in parentheses:— New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd.: Butter, choicest salted, 67s to 69s per cwt (66s to 695); market firmer. • Cheese, white 48s to 49s (47s 6d to 48s); coloured, 48s to 49s (46s to 475); market steady. Mr. E. Griffiths (Messrs. A. J. Mills and Co. Ltd.): Butter, New Zealand finest 69s (67s to 695), first 66s to 67s (665); unsalted 80s to 82s (84s to 86s); Danish 106 s (106 s f.o.b. 86s (86s); Australian 69s (68s to 695). Cheese, white, 48s to 48s 6d (47s 6d to 48s); coloured, 48s 6d (46s 6d to 475); Canadian, 49s to 50s (49s to 50s). Messrs. Henry A. Lane and Co.
