BULL FAIR AT HAWERA

GOOD PRICES FOR GRADE STOCK. A top price of £lO 10s was realised in a grade Jersey bull fair conducted by the Farmers’ Co-operative Organisation Society at Hawera yesterday afternoon. The seller was Mr. F. Dunlop, and the price was exceedingly good for a grade animal. Most of the' prices paid for the 20 bulls sold of the 40 offered were good, the average price being £6 65., Mr. A. J. Corrigan was the biggest seller, his offerings realising from 7i guineas to three guineas, eight being sold. Mr. W. G. Belton sold five at prices ranging from £7 7s to £5 10s 3d. Johnson Bros., Normanby, sold two at 9J guineas, and one at 7gns, the other vendors being T. Colson two, end F. Erhom one. Mr. Dunlop sold only one, the animal which topped the sale.
