Stewart, announced to-day a conference would be held between the New Zealand and Australian Governments shortly, probably at Canberra, to discuss the embargo upon citrus fruits and other matters of mutual interest. •

It is expected the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, Minister of Customs, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, Prime Minister, and the Hon. R. Masters, Minister of Industries and Commerce, will attend the conference on behalf of New Zealand.
