LEAGUE BUDGET CRITICISED
ANGLO-DOMINION DELEGATES. PAYMENT OF CONTRIBUTIONS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.-Copyright. Rec. 8.10 p.m. London, Sept. 14. Anglo-Dominion delegates severely criticised the League of Nations budgeting, says the Times’ Geneva correspondent. Sir E. N. Bennett, a British member of Parliament, declared that the League was driven to estimate for an unincurrable expenditure and estimate as revenue contributions which it knew were not being paid, resulting in a superficial appearance of success. Sir James Parr, New Zealand, also deplored the situation arising from the non-payment of contributions and urged that measures be taken to deal with them.
