EXTRADITION SECOND TIME
ARREST MADE AT MELBOURNE. ALLEGED OFFENCE IN TARANAKI,

Wellington, Last Night.
Having once avoided extradition from Melbourne to Wellington to face a charge of false pretences in connection with the Craftsman Manufacturing Company of New Zealand Ltd., Charles Ernest Vickers, Australian company promoter, has been again arrested by the Victorian police, and Detective W. R. Murray, Wellington, left by the Marama yesterday to escort.him back.
Earlier this year Vickers was arrested at Melbourne on a charge of obtaining £lOOO from J. J. Patterson at Manaia by false representations regarding , the Craftsman Manufacturing. Company. In May Detective-Sergeant Jarrold went to Melbourne to bring him back to Wellington, but the case against him was dismissed by a Melbourne court on a technicality and Vickers walked out of the court and vanished.
