There was good competition from Japan and Yorkshire with an increased demand from Continental sections. Prices were firm and unchanged at last week’s closing rates. Greasy Merino fleece sold to 15Jd for five bales from Boomi. MOTUROA OIL FIELDS. OFFICIAL PRODUCTION REPORT. Following is the official report for five weeks from Moturoa Oil Fields Ltd., New Plymouth: The Moturoa No. 4 well produced 6265 imperial gallons of crude oil, the total production to date being 30,570 Imperial gallons. The Moturoa No. 2 well produced 11,655 Imperial gallons of crude oil, the total production to date being 559,619 Imperial gallons. LIVESTOCK MARKETS. FEILDING SALE PRICES.
