VISITING ARTISTS HELP

INGLEWOOD METHODIST CONCERT. There was a large and representative attendance at the Inglewood Methodist Church last night, when after the usual service a programme was presented by the Whiteley Church choir, New Plymouth, and others. The programme was: Anthem, “Te Deum,” the choir; recitation, Mrs. Nelson Hill; vocal duet, Messrs. Smith and Blight; violin solo, Mr. D. McAllister; vocal solo, Miss F. Sutherland; vocal solo, Mr. W. J. Smith; anthem, “Seek Ye the Lord,” the choir; recitation, Mrs. Nelson Hill; vocal solo, Mrs. Faris; anthem, “Exalt Him,” the choir. Accompaniments were played by Mrs. Jemison. Mrs. V. Arthur was organist. The Rev. Mr. Blight thanked those who had come from New Plymouth and Tariki to assist the choir in ensuring the success of the evening.
