TARANAKI MERIT LIST. OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES. Taranaki Jersey cattle under test continue to do remarkably well. Though in the June merit list none of them hold the class leadership, Jersey cows from the province are very prominent. In four of the classes they occupy the positions of runner-up, while in -the senior two-year-old class -Taranaki occupies five of the top eight places and in the mature class five of the top nine places.
