APPARENTLY AN ACCIDENT.

DEATH IN AUCKLAND HOSPITAL.

A child aged four years and eight months, named Ronald Harvey, apparently accidentally strangled himself in the Auckland hospital yesterday.

According to the police - report to the coroner the child had bronchial pneumonia, and it was found necessary to restrain him k a jacket. One of the bands of the jacket slipped round his neck, and he died, of asphyxia. The inquest to-day was adjourned and at the suggestion of the hospital superintendent a post-mortem examination will be made.
