PRIME MINISTER INJURED
GENERAL GOERING IN CRASH ONLY MINOR HURT RECEIVED COLLISION ON MUNICH ROAD HITLER HURRIES TO SCENE By Telegraph—Press Association. Rec. 8.45 p.m. Berlin, Aug. 15. General Goering, Prussian Prime Minister, when motoring from Munich, crashed into a motor-lorry on a narrow road on which the lorry and two private cars were approaching on the left side. The car was ripped open and General Goering, who was driving, and his passengers all suffered injury and were sent to hospital. General Goering later proceeded to the Prussian Prime Minister’s country house at Obersalzburg. Herr Adolf Hitler arrived after midnight and was reassured to find General Goering was only bruised and cut in a few places. The United Press Association’s correspondent at Munich states that General Goering underwent an operation before his removal to his home at Obersalzburg.
