WEATHER STILL UNSETTLED

RAIN IN WESTERN DISTRICTS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will still be unsettled and squally, with rain at times in all western districts and heavy falls in Westland, but mainly fair at first on the east coast south of Gisborne. Temperatures will be moderate. A deep westerly depression still extends from eastern Australia across the Tasman Sea and New Zealand. Strong northerly to westerly winds, reaching gale force in many places, are likely. Seas will be moderate in coastal waters north of Castlepoint and rough elsewhere.
