MEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES. The first two rounds for the Manakorihi Golf Club's championships will be played next week-end. The third and final round of the centenary medal match will be played in conjunction with the qualifying rounds. The draw for the qualifying rounds for the championships is:— 9 a.m.: T. Stockman, F. McDavitt, S. George. 9.5 a.m.: A. S. McGregor, A. G. Wills, A. Foreman. 9.10: a.m.: K. Lye, R. H. Early, E. A. George. 9.15 a.m.: H. Alexander, R. George, H. R. Soffe. 9.20 a.m.: W. R. Fuller, C. Sampson, J. Main. 9.25 a.m.: G. P. Fuller, W. B. Glasgow, S. Richards. 9.30 a.m.: L. Lye, D. H. Purdie, H. Hicks. 9.35 a.m.: J. Priar, A. J. Wells, D. Richards. 9.40 a.m.: O. A. Keith, F. Chittenden, H. Dugdale. 9.45 a.m.: F. Locke, R. Gilmore, J. W. Hamlin. To-day and Saturday flag matches will be played, players to arrange for their own partners. Ping-pong Among Lodges. An enjoyable evening was spent on Tuesday nigt t in St. John’s hall, where a ping-pong tournament was held between members of the Oddfellows and Foresters’ Lodges. The tournament resulted in a win for the Oddfellows by 689 to 655. Afterwards the competitors were entertained at supper by the lady members of the lodges.
