ARRANGEMENT OF NAPIER VISIT. A'meeting Of the Taranaki Primary Schools’ Football Association was held at NOw Plymouth last night, when there were present Messrs R. J. Page (chairman), P. Gardner, R. Clarke, K. Cumming, G. H. Gorringe, A. H. Bensley and J. W. Chapman (honorary secretary). The arrangements for the representative team to participate, in the annual tournament at Napier on August 28, 29 and 30 were fully discussed. The boys would have to leave on Monday, August 30, and stay at Palmerston North overnight, it was stated. The finances were carefully considered. The trip would cost the association about £l4 to £l5, but it was stated that it was expected that the association would be able to raise the sum. Mr. Gorringe was appointed manager of the team and the delegate to the conference Of the North Island Primary Schools’ Football Association. It was decided •to hold no A grade matches on Saturday.
