Mr. R. Hooper, New Plymouth, received cabled advice yesterday that his son, Flying-Officer W. E. Hooper, had reached Colombo en route to visit his home on leave.

He is at present assistant-medical superintendent of the Christchurch Public Hospital,/ states a Press Association message from Greymouth.
