Catalogue had the measure of Round Score, with Lord Moutoa a couple of lengths back, at the end of'five furlongs in Im 8 l-ss, the first two taking 26 4-ss. King Thomond drew clear of Mid Acre and Flaxen in the run home, doing the: last three furlongs in 41s. v ' 1 Golden Chant alone left five furlongs behind in Im BJs, after covering the first two in 26 l-ss. Blacksmith strode out freely over six furlongs in Im 26Js. Henry of Nayarre led, Calydon 'and Boudoir throughout a six furlongs task and was still clear at the post traversing the distance in Im 24 3-ss. From a barrier start Gaycoma and Severe, two two-year-olds, ran two furlongs in 25Js, Gaycoma being in front. It was a smart effort.
