TEST AIR RAIDS MADE ON LONDON REPORT FROM MINISTRY OF AIR. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, July 24. The Air Ministry report reveals that the “Southland” bombers, which attacked the “seat of Government in the Northland” in the test air raids over London, were largely successful. Squadrons attacking the Air Ministry, West India Dock and the stores depot at Kidbrooke were not intercepted, and a squadron bombing Dagenham roughly handled four out of seven targets. The London area was hit.

Thirty-nine raids were carried out by individual planes in the second phase of the attack, of which 33 were intercepted and 29 hits were recorded. The “Southland” bombers attacked the aerodromes with good results in the third jthases
