PETROL PRICE WAR BEGUN
PRICE REDUCED AT SYDNEY. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 9.35 p.m. Sydney, July 25. A petrol price war was launched today with an announcement that one of the leading companies was reducing first grade spirit to Is 5d a gallon and second grade to Is 4d. Immediate action is being taken by other companies to reconsider their rates.
