EAST END COMMUNITY SING

SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION HELD. Another successful community sing was held by the East End Social Committee last night, and it has been decided to continue the series. The large attendance was responsive to the leadership of Mr. W. G. Stewart, whose deft touches of humour were fully appreciated. Old favourites and a few new ones sung, the accompaniments being played by Miss Jean Grice. Soloists were: Mrs. Ferry, Miss Betty Turnbull, Miss Wright, Messrs. C. and L. Kerr and Mr. Perrian (comedy numbers).
