ADVANTAGE TO MANUFACTURERS.

British Official Wireless. Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, July 18. A commercial agreement between Great Britain and Latvia has been signed by Sir John Simon, Foreign Secretary, and Mr. W. Runciman, President of the Board of Trade, and the Latvian Minister, M. K. Zarius. It gives an undertaking regarding Latvian exports to Britain, and is expected to be of advantage to British manufacturers of agricultural and other machinery. Agreements have already been completed with two other Baltic States, and negotiations are proceeding with Poland.
