WEATHER STILL UNSETTLED

COOL CHANGE EXPECTED LATER.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night.

The weather is still ,expected to be cloudy to overcast and unsettled, with further rain. Heavy falls are likely from Nelson and Marlborough northwards. Conditions should be mild at first but a cool change may advance later from the south. A very deep depression is now passing the southern extremity of the Dominion and a trough of low pressure extends from it to the northwards. Northerly winds, strong to gale force ‘about and north of Cook Strait but elsewhere moderate to strong, are expected, backing to west over the South Island and later to south-west in the southern part. Seas will be moderate in parts on the east coast but elsewhere rough.
