SATURDAY, JUNE 23. Trans-Tasman Air Mail.
An air-mail is to be despatched from Ninety-mile Beach to Sydney by the Faith in Australia, piloted by Mr. C. T. P. Ulm. The charges will be ordinary postage at the rate of Id per ounce, an air-mail fee of 6d per and in the case of -registered articles the registratio'n fee of 3d. Letters addressed for return from Australia must bear Australian stamps at the rate of 2d per ounce with an additional 3d in the case of registered correspondence. The air mail will close at this office on Saturday, June 23, at 12.45 p.m. Australian States, South Africa and East (per Kalingo from Wellington) via Newcastle, at 12.45 p.m. Late fee 1 p.m. MONDAY, JUNE 25. For Great Britain, Ireland, Europe, Canada, United States of America, Mexico and West Indies, “via Vancouver,” also Fiji, Tonga, Hawaiian Islands, Fanning Island and Japan - (per Aorangi from Auckland) at 6 p.m. Late fee 6.30 p.m. Money orders close at 3 p.m. Parcels for Fiji, Tonga, Hawaiian Islands, Fanning Island, Canada and America close Friday, June 22 at 5 p.m. Due London July 24.
Great Britain, Ireland and Europe (specially addressed correspondence only), also all States of South America, via Monte Video (per Port Napier from Wellington), close 12.45 p.m.; late fee 1 p.m. Parcels 5 p.m. Friday, June 22. Due at Lpndon August 10. Great Britain, Ireland and Europe (specially addressed correspondence only) Central America, Cristobal (Panama Canal) and South American Western States “via Panama” (per Port Hunter from Auckland), at 6 p.m. Late fee 6.30 pm.
