PUNIHO SCHOOL MATCHES

On Friday last the Okato basketball and football teams visited the Puniho school. After a hard, interesting, game the Okato boys won by 15 points to nine. Tries were scored for the winners by Hill (2), Grindlay (2) and Corbett, and for the losers by Ngawhare (3). The basketball, which was very fast and interesting, ended in a draw, both sides scoring six goals. Messrs J. McEldowney and E. G. Elwin are visiting Wellington. Mr. R. Bell jun. is on holiday in New Plymouth. Mr. 0. Johns is away on holiday.
