TUNA DISTRICT NEWS
PERSONAL AND GENERAL ITEMS. The second of a series of euchre parties and dances was held in the 1 Tuna schoolroom bn Friday. Visitors were present from Huinga, Tariki, Midhirst and Kahouri bridge. Prizes were won as follow: Ladies, Miss S. Henderson 1, Miss P. Bell 2; men, Mr. F. Kovaleski 1, Mr. W. Kovaleski 2. Dancing followed, the music being supplied by Mr. H. Humphries, Tariki. Extras were played by Mr. C. Henderson and a Monte Carlo was won by Miss F. Harrison and Mr. W. Steele. Messrs. D. Latham and C. Henderson were masters of ceremonies. Personal. Mrs. H. Kirkby has returned home from hospital. Mr. F. Winmill, Cardiff, is staying with Mr. L. Walker. Mrs. L. Lepper, Tikorangi, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. W. Lepper.
