Several practices have been held in the Mokau hall. The Mokau school committee held a dance in the Mokau hall on Tuesday night to raise funds for the school dental clinic and sports. Extras were played by Miss Sampson and Mr. F. Northern. During the evening Mr. P. Cavanagh danced an Irish jig. Novelty dances were won by Mrs. F. Widt and Mr. P. Mutu (Monte Carlo), Mrs. Ross and Mr. M. Pratt (mystery dance), and Miss M. Marusich and Mr. T. Marusich (novelty waltzing competition). The masters of ceremonies were Messrs Templar, Pratt and Scott. Mrs. Ross is visiting her mother, Mrs. Bell, Mokau. Mrs. S. Whitehead, Mokau, is on a short visit to Raglan. Miss M.
