To-day an appeal is to be made for the Y.W.C.A. and citizens will have an opportunity of helping this most comprehensive and valuable work. No one can gainsay its importance to youth, and np one can gainsay the importance of youth to the town. In every centre of New Zealand the citizens realise the importance of “Y.” In .most cities the “youth appeals” have been second to the appeals for the unemployed. New Plymouth citizens can surely be relied upon to respond liberally.
