SCHOOL COMPETITIONS.
FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY.
Fixtures and referees for the two school competitions were announced at a meeting of the Taranaki Primary Schools’ Football Association last night. They are:— A Grade (Thomson Cup), 11 a.m.:— Waitara v. > Vogeltown, at Waitara, Mr. P. Gardner; West End v. Fitzroy, at West End, Mr. W. Shippey; Central, a bye.
B Grade (Malayan Shield), 10 a.m.:— Waitara v. Moturoa, at Waitara, Mr. J. W. Chapman; ’Convent v. Central, at Convent, Mr. J. Atkinson; West End v. Westown, at West End, Mr. J. Crawford; Fitzroy, a bye. . . Present at the meeting were:—Messrs G. E. Roper (chairman), R. J. Page, G. Lawrence, P. Gardner, E. Kenny, R. Cumming and J. W. Chapman (secretary).
Moturoa will be represented by Sanders, Kendal, Lynch, Connett, Rae, Harris, Grange, Collins, Healy, Ramsdale, Quinlan; reserves, Morgan, Simpson.
