PALMERSTON NORTH SHOW.
Attention is called to the closing date of entries for the 32nd national dairy show, which is to be held at the Palmerston North showgrounds on June 13, 14, 15 and 16. Liberal prizes have been allocated to the classes and exhibitors may rest assured that their efforts will be well rewarded. Classes are of a wide and varied nature ranging from fat stock to model aeroplanes. The womenfolk are specially well catered for and classes for needlework, pickles, knitting, cooking and preserves enable them to display their handiwork and at the same time compete for prizes which make the exhibits remunerative. Ring events form one of the show’s main attractions, and this year the old rivals, Te Aute Boys’ College and Palmerston North Boys’ High School, will again meet in a Rugby match. The entries in all classes, with the exception of poultry, rabbits and cats, close to-morrow. The entries for poultry, rabbits and cats will close on Thursday. Schedules for all classes may be had free on application to the secretary, Mr. W. T. Penny, P.O. Box 85, Palmerston North.
