Senor Iranzo, Minister of Commerce, told the Cabinet that Japanese dumping of cotton goods and textiles into Spanish Morocco and the Canary Islands had reduced Spain’s output of cotton by 30 per cent, and that of textiles by still more. He urged measures to protect these industries.
