DISCOVERY IN WAIRARAPA. PRESENTATION TO MUSEUM. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A living specimen of a three-tailed lizard has been forwarded to the Dominion Museum by Mrs. H. C. Wilkinson, Featherston. The director of the museum, Mr. W. R. B. Oliver, stated to-day that though he knew of three-tailed lizards being found in other countries this was the first occasion he had heard of one in New Zealand, and the discovery was of considerable interest to zoologists.
