RACE FROM PAEKAKARIKI. EGMONT HOMING CLUB. The Egmont Homing Club held two races in unsettled weather last week. A flock race from Paekakariki on Saturday resulted:— N. James. 4hr. 29min. lOsec 1 N. H. Bellringer, 4hr, 29min. 32sec. .. f* Leighton Bros., 4hr. 32min 19sec. .. 3 The second event was a pairs interval race flown from Palmerston North, a distance of 125 miles. Two birds represented each loft, six members competing, with an interval of 15 minutes between the liberation of each pair of birds. The weather was again showery and unsettled, but fair times were recorded. The results were:— J. Wilson's 43, 3hr. 4min 1 J.
