The secretary of the New Zealand Wool Brokers’ Association supplies the final results of the wool sales of the 1933-34 season from July 1, 1933, to the last sale of the season on'April 27, 1934. A total of 676,550 bales were offered, of which 633,553 were sold. The total realisation was £10,241,041, the average price per lb. 11.127 d, and the average price per bale £l6 3s 3d.The corresponding figures for the last two years were:— Total realisations: 1931-32, £3,522,735; 1932-33, £4,239,720 Average price per pound: 1931-32, 5.26 a; 1932-33, 5.168 d; average price per bale, 1931-32, £7 10s sd; 1932-33, £7 10s 5.72 d.
