TOTAL WOOL REALISATIONS FINAL RESULTS FOR THE SEASON. OVER £10,000,000 ENTERS COUNTRY. BROKERS GIVE ANNUAL RETURNS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The secretary of the New Zealand Wool Brokers’ Association supplies the final results of the wool sales of the 1933-34 season from July 1, 1933, to the last sale of the season on'April 27, 1934. A total of 676,550 bales were offered, of which 633,553 were sold. The total realisation was £10,241,041, the average price per lb. 11.127 d, and the average price per bale £l6 3s 3d.The corresponding figures for the last two years were:— Total realisations: 1931-32, £3,522,735; 1932-33, £4,239,720 Average price per pound: 1931-32, 5.26 a; 1932-33, 5.168 d; average price per bale, 1931-32, £7 10s sd; 1932-33, £7 10s 5.72 d.
