There are several date, palm groves in South Australia. They are to be seen l on the desert track from Maree (S.A.). north of Birdsville (W.Q.), at Lake Harry. Established many years ago as a watering-place for travelling stock, the Government had the plains planted as an experiment. They now bear annually and a ready sale is found for the whole supply.
