EUCHRE PARTY AND DANCE. The usual fortnightly euchre party was held in the Oakura Hall on Tuesday night, 20 tables being in play. Miss Mary Goodwin won the ladies’. Ist prize, while Mrs. J. Jans, Mrs. L. Brown, Mrs. B. Haw and Mrs. McKinna, all scoring the same number of points, were equally second. Mr. A. Julian won the men’s Ist, Mr. D. MacGregor 2nd and Mr. E. Honeyfield 3rd. Mr. H. O. Staveley donated prizes for a lucky number table. The winners were: Mrs. R. Knapman, Miss V. Price, Mr. R, Julian and Mr. A. Moorby. Music for the dance was supplied by Miss N.
