(Japan), 6—2, 6—4; 2—6, 4—6, 6—3; Boussus and Merlin (France) defeated Mishimura and Kamakishi (Japan), 7—5, 6—4, 6—2. Women’s singles:—Fourth round: Miss Dorothy Round (England) defeated Mrs. Whittingstall (England), 3—6, 6—4, 6—3; Miss K. Stammers (England) defeated Mrs. Dearman (England), 7—9, 7—5, 6—2.
