ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Hockey Association was held tonight, Mr. H. S. J. Goodman presiding. Speaking to the annual report, the chairman referred to the growth of the game in the Dominion, mentioning that the total number of associations affiliated totalled 20. Officers elected were: Patron, his Excellency the Governor-General; president, Mr. H. S. J. Goodman; vice-presidents, the presidents of affiliated associations; treasurer, Mr. P. N. Quarterman; auditor, Mr. A. Stewart; management committee, Messrs. S. G. Holland, C. C. Holland, R. Gracie, H. Throp, T. Gunn, A. F. Preston and C. Bellamy. , A motion that the holder of a challenge shield should not be compelled to defend the shield more than three times !n the one season was lost.
