SHORTAGE OF HOUSES FELT
POSITION IN WELLINGTON CITY. RENTS APPARENTLY HARDENING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. It is stated there is a house shortage in Wellington city. A land and estate agent stated to-day that the tendency for house rents to fall had ceased and in fact rents appeared to be hardening.
