A very successful gathering took place in the New Plymouth Y.W.C.A. hall last night when the old boys of the Westown scouts held a dance to raise funds for the present troop. About forty to fifty couples were present and all spent an enjoyable evening. Mr. L. Hedges, secretary and the master of ceremonies, and Messrs. M. G. Morrison and J. Putt worked assiduously to see that all had a good time. The music was supplied by McNeill’s orchestra.
