PLAN FOR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP. The committee members of the Waverley Tennis Club at the close of the last successful year considered the possibilities of holding an open championship tournament next season and it was decided to spare no- effort to bring the courts, which are already known in the district for their good playing qualities, up to championship standard.
