WARNING TO BRITAIN
QUOTAS TO THE DOMINIONS. RHODESIAN PREMIER’S STATEMENT By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Cape Town, April 25. The Premier of Southern Rhodesia, Mr. G. M. Huggins, during the Budget debate, warned Britain that if she was not prepared to give reasonable quotas to her Dominions and dependencies, he would be compelled to make agreements with other countries. Rhodesia could take thousands of settlers if Britain guaranteed a quota. He did not desire to interfere with the policy of Britain but he wanted to know her policy.
