CYCLONIC RAIN STORMS

FLOOD DANGER IN N.S.W. PASSES*

DISTURBANCE MOVES SEAWARD.

By Telegraph—Press ASsfi.—Copyright. Sydney, April 17.

The danger of serious floods on the South Coast passed with the passage south-eastward into the Tasman Sea of the cyclonic disturbance. Communication with South Coast towns is not completely restored, but thousands of tons of earth which blocked Princes Highway have been removed. The South Coast railway service remains suspended as the result of a blockage of tunnels by landslides.

Shipping proceeding to Sydney from the south was much delayed. The Weather Bureau issued a Warning to shipping, forecasting continued rough seas along the south-eastern coast-line and in the Tasman Sea.
