The international wheat conference terminated after arriving at the conclusion that further lowering of the production was necessary to avoid a world surplus, quotas already being over-high, compared with the estimated demand. The report of the conference recommends that Governments, where possible, should reduce milling by extraction and adopt denaturing. This is practicable in Britan but not in America.
