WOUND SELF-INFLICTED
VICTIM OF EPILEPTIC FITS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Simeon Brophy, aged 41, was found in a small room adjoining the bar at the Royal Hotel on Friday with his throat cut and a razor lying- beside him. He was taken to the public hospital, where he died last evening. An inquest was held to-day before the coroner, Mr. H. A. Young, who returned a verdict that Brophy died from a wound self-inflicted while he was suffering from epileptic fits. Papers found on Brophy indicated that his last address was the Public Works Department camp at Lake Sumner.
