HALL COMMITTEE MEETINGThe annual meeting. of the Oakura Hall Committee was Held in the hall on Thursday night, a large number being present. A new committee of young men formed as follows: Messrs. C. K. Price (chairman), F. H. Telford (secretary), B. Bunbury, T. Jury, J. Sefton, S. Jago and A. Phillips. Y.M.C.A.
Last Saturday night a meeting of the Oakura branch of the Y.M.C.A. was held. The following committee was elected:— Messrs. G. H. Bell, W. K. Morris, C. K. Price, P. Telford and C. Jans. Tennis Clpb. On Sunday the tennis club committee visited the courts. The club has decided to build a summer house of pongas and bank- the sides of the, courts with pongas. Personal.
Miss Nancy Corbett spent the Easter holidays with Mias Sylvia Price. Mrs. Bunbury is in the New Plymouth hospital, where she has undergone an operation. Mr. and Mrs. Clues, Auckland, and their daughter are the guests of the daughter, Mrs. H. Tills.
